When it was first introduced in the mid '90's, the Nike Air Max 95 completely shook up the already-established and popular Air Max line. While the fundamental supportive technology underfoot remained intact, the broad Swoosh was replaced with a subtle logo hit near the ankle and the Air units spread toward the forefoot. But, the biggest change of all was also the one that makes the look so appealing: the layered upper and its gradient effect, which works perfectly with this black/anthracite/lyon blue combination pictured here. The UK's JD Sports, who has been the lucky recipient of plenty of Nike exclusives, also bring us this look, which is also probably just the tip of the celebratory iceberg to come given the model's 20th anniversary. Still classic, still responsive, and always stylish, hit after the jump to see more and head to JD Sports to learn more.
