Y-3 has just released a campaign film for their Spring/Summer 2015 line, paying homage to the early days of surfing culture. Shot by photographer Kacper Kasprzyk with creative direction by Lloyd & Co, the visual is filled with raw, gritty and super saturated colors that throws back to surf punk imagery from the 80s, while the florals pay tribute to Hawaiian surf themes from the 60s and 70s. The current roster of clothing from the brand, started by the legendary Yohji Yamamoto, is juxtaposed by the Saved by the Bell-esque motif, reminiscent of a VHS recording or old MTV music video. The Y-3 Spring/Summer 2015 collection is available now in stores and online. Check out the film below.
