NikeLab has teamed up with Berlin-based designer Johanna Schneider for a women’s training collection, one that features apparel built for ultimate versatility and the body in motion. The project melds Nike’s technical and performance insights with Schneider’s modular design perspective, resulting in layering pieces for the different stages of a workout, including the transitional periods of warm-up and cool-down. Designed with functionality and performance in mind, Schneider built the collection from the ground up, creating her own clothing patterns while also taking advantage of Nike’s laser-cutting and lightweight bonding technologies, as well as signature materials like Dri-FIT. Key pieces from the range include the Nike Pro printed tights and bra, sleeveless cape, long-sleeve crop top, culotte shorts and studio wrap. Look for the NikeLab x JFS Spring 2015 collection to launch February 26th through NikeLab locations and online.
