Marni – Fall/Winter 2015 Collection | Runway Show
Last week at Pitti Uomo, Consuelo Castiglioni of cult brand Marni chose Florence’s Marino Marini Museum as the setting for her men’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection, a suitable venue considering the structural silhouettes on display. Tactile fabrics made up a prominent theme here, epitomized by the generous use of fur of all types, including alpaca, sheepskin and goat. Mismatched check patterns, flared pants and mohair sweaters contributed to a ’60s vibe, though the sharply tailored suiting served as a reminder that the collection at large was made to be interpreted by “different personalities,” as Castiglioni elegantly put it.
