We've already previewed the 996C and 600C from New Balance's new C-Series line, and now we get a comprehensive look at the upcoming collection, including new colorways and a previously unseen model. Designed in the New Balance Lifestyle Design Studio in Tokyo, Japan, the CM600C, 996C and CT700C are made for urban cycling, featuring a streamlined silhouette, reflective laces and high-density rubber in the forefoot of the outsole for added durability. The CM600C, built with bootie construction and a neoprene tongue equipped with a hidden pocket to safely tuck away laces, will be available in North America in four introductory colors beginning February 1. The CT700C and 996C will be available in Europe and Asia, with the former featuring an ankle strap and high-top silhouette. Both are adorned with reflective laser-etched patterns on the upper.
In celebration of the C-Series launched, New Balance has partnered with Tokyobike to create one-of-a-kind models based off two C-Series colorways, yellow and navy. The Tokyobike Limited Edition Classic Sport bicycles are light-weight, 8-speed city commuter bicycles and will be on display at Tokyobike’s New York City and London locations, as well as New Balance New York.
