For their next big name release, the General is using the darkness of night to their advantage yet again. No stranger to custom, blacked-out pick-up trucks, Chevrolet is revealing their Silverado Midnight Edition ahead of the upcoming Chicago Auto Show next month, with a look cast in black from tow hook to grille. Based on the Silverado 1500 with the Z71 package, the Midnight Edition blacks-out anything that can handle the colorway, including the bumpers, headlamp bezels, fog lamps, side and beltline trim, and even the 19-inch wheels, bedliner, and logos. In case you want to do some midnight muddin', this Chevy boasts an off-road suspension, locking rear differential, and a hill-descent control function. Customers will also have their choice of double or crew-cab models with optional trailer packs, rear park assist, and heated door mirrors. In any combination, Chevy is limiting the edition to only 5,000 models this year, each with a $1,595 - 1,995 price tag on top of the truck itself.
