Apple's New Store in China Features Calligraphy

To create a completely unique look for their new store in Hangzhou, China, Apple enlisted calligrapher Wang Dongling to paint an incredible mural that will greet customers as they walk in. Set against a clean white background, a red Apple logo sits in the middle of beautifully written Chinese characters, which is actually a 2000 year old poem called "Praising West Lake in the Rain" that honors the city. Apple Store West Lake, which will be the largest one in all of Asia, is set to open this Saturday, February 24. Take a look at Dongling's work and process below.
