Watching commercials is one of the most time-honored traditions of the Super Bowl. Every year, millions of marketing dollars are poured into creating thirty second spots that make us laugh, cringe and sometimes cry. Never one to disappoint, Bud Light has debuted a most excellent new commercial for the big game featuring a life-sized version of Pac-Man. An unsuspecting average Joe named Riley walks into a bar with his friends when the bartender hands him a free Bud Light asking if he's "up for whatever happens next". Happy to get a free drink, the young man obliges and before he knows it, he finds himself at a rave where he's pushed into a huge game of Pac-Man. Grammy-nominated producer DJ Shadow also makes an appearance, debuting a track made just for the event. Riley finishes to a roaring crowed and is awarded another beer. Was some it staged? Probably. But that doesn't make it any less awesome. Listen to Shadow's mix and check Bud Light's awesome new commercial below.
