Kanye West appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today to debut his new Spike Jonze-directed music video for "Only One", which features his daughter with Kim Kardashian, North. Seeming cool and collected, he talked about the positive changes and happiness he's found in his life, one of which was his partnership with adidas. The iconic rapper said that the merger provided "a little bit of oxygen", giving him more creative freedom to work on projects that he feels are close to his heart. He told Ellen, "There’s no amount of money people can give you to make you not be creative if you were born to create...a lot of times people try to block [your creativity], control you with money, and adidas allowed me to make my whole clothing line, which I wanted to do and it was like a little bit of oxygen". The highly anticipated adidas Yeezi has been continuously pushed back but hearing news directly from West himself seems to give us a tiny ray of hope for seeing it sometime soon.
