Today sees Converse debuting the revamped Jack Purcell, originally launched way back in 1935 to become a true sneaker classic, as well as a staple in the stylish man's modern wardrobe. The latest evolution of the iconic silhouette is more than just a simple facelift, with a total of 18 new features and benefits. Key upgrades include a two-ply duck canvas upper, reinforced no-slip canvas heel counter, two-piece molded foxing construction with a streamlined toecap, and an Ortholite footbed with embedded Nike Zoom Air Technology. Polished aluminum eyelets and a wider heel stay display the craftsmanship in the construction, while a winged tongue and duck canvas eyerow create a seamless inner forefoot for added durability. The signature two-piece Jack Purcell smile in Converse blue, along with the return of the embroidered tongue, round out the details. Retailing for $95, the new Converse Jack Purcell Signature sneaker for Spring 2015 launches this month through Converse retail stores and online, as well as Nordstrom locations nationwide, in introductory White, Black and Mason colors.
