Ford has finally unveiled the much anticipated 2016 Focus RS, the high performance version of their best selling model. The Focus ST is easily one of the most popular hatches on the market, coming with a 2.0-liter turbo four, 252 horsepower and 366 Nm of torque. The revamped Focus RS will be powered by the Mustang's four-cylinder 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged gasoline engine, which ups the horsepower to more than 315 and the torque to at least 433 Nm. That power is sent to an all-wheel drive system that benefits from dynamic torque vectoring control, giving the driver more and better control. Another added feature is the high-performance large-bore exhaust system with dual pipes and an electronically-controlled valve in the tailpipe. The 2016 Ford Focus RS will be available in Nitrous Blue, Frozen White, Absolute Black and Stealth Gray. Unfortunately, the Liquid Blue shown in the photos won't be commercially available.
