At Paris Fashion Week, Junichi Abe delivered a Fall/Winter 2015 collection for his burgeoning label Kolor that was heavily inspired by the American West, specifically featuring rustic hues that called to mind the iconography of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Graphic elements and cozy fabrications featured multiple stripes and Navajo motifs, but it wasn't all ranch hand chic -- there were tailored outerwear and color-blocked blazers, as well as nylon parkas in complementary olive green shades. It figures to be a big year for Kolor -- with an adidas collaboration also on the way -- and Abe's subtle and balanced approach to menswear makes the brand one to watch.
