Canon has finally unveiled the EOS M3, an improved and updated version of the M2. It boasts the Japanese brand's first ever 24.2 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and their most advanced image processor that enables users to take excellent photos and record Full HD movies. The M3 also introduces a new design to the body, replacing the smooth surface with a more textured one, offering a better grip, which is especially helpful when using a heaver lens. It also comes with two new dials on the top including one for exposure compensation. Canon created this model hoping to pack a DSLR into a compact body, which is apparent in the look, feel and functions of the M3. Additionally, it features a built-in pop-up flash, a 3-inch LCD touchscreen that flips up and down and WiFi connectivity. The Canon EOS M3 Mirrorless Camera will be available in April.
