We present a closer look at The North Face's newly re-launched Mountain Jacket, which lands in stores this season as part of four distinct collections. First up is the Heritage Mountain Jacket, a contemporary update of the original 1985 version that's built with a waxed, water-repellent outer and unique gingham-print lining. Next is the Limited Mountain Jacket, a reissue of the original that protected the Snowbird Everest Team in 1987. Crafted from waterproof Gore-Tex, the garment has fully sealed seams and an adjustable hem, with original TNF Yellow and TNF Red versions joined by a new TNF Black style. The Seasonal Mountain Jacket is an urban iteration of the original icon, updated with ultra-lightweight and packable polyester, finished in a total of eight color options. Finally, the Rage Mountain Jacket is inspired by the '90s, with 2L HyVent construction in striking color-block designs and all-over prints. Expect the Spring/Summer 2015 Mountain Jacket to hit stores in the coming weeks.
