Originally unveiled through an upcoming frament design x NikeLab release, the new Nike Hyperchase is set for launch as a standalone model. The performance basketball shoe was designed by Tony Hardman with the Houston Rockets' All-Star James Harden as the muse, featuring an asymmetrical design inspired by fighter jets. The lightweight two-layer mesh upper has strategically placed overlays for flexibility and support, along with Flywire technology on the lateral forefoot for dynamic lockdown. Lightweight stability and support come courtesy of a drop-in midsole insert and Phylon midsole, while the hexagonal pattern on the outsole provides superior traction for multidirectional movement. A clever finishing touch is the angle of the Swoosh, positioned to read accurately when the athlete is on his toes. Look for the kicks to hit stores beginning February 12.
