BMW has taken the wraps off the 2016 ALPINA B6 xDrive Gran Coupe,featuring performance and aesthetic enhancements from boutique tuner ALPINA. Under the hood, the4.4 liter V8 Bi-Turbo V-8 engine gets a60 hp boost, so that the total power output is rated at 600 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.The resultingtop speed is electronically limited to 200 mph, and the 0 - 60 mph sprinttime of 3.6 seconds makes this the fastest-accelerating BMW ALPINA to date.Additional performance upgradesinclude an ALPINA sport suspension with Dynamic Damper Control and Adaptive Drive, both of which serve to enhance the car's agile driving dynamics.Visually, the exterior has a refashionedfront end with a more aggressive front spoiler, revised kidney grille, and reshaped front bumper. Pricing for the custom-order vehicle will be announced prior to its launchin March 2015.
