Last spring N.HOOLYWOOD drew inspiration from the greens of the forest. For the Spring/Summer 2015 season, Japanese designer Daisuke Obana took cues from the military mountain division that was stationed at Vail, Colorado in the 1940s. The historic city would eventually go on to house the well-known Vail Ski Resort. Obana's visit left quite an impression on him, as he made use of white and khaki for his new line. "We focused on comfortable fabrics," he said. He even partnered up with brands like Avirex, Mountain Hardware, Wild Things and Gloverall to create the absolute best outerwear.
Amidst the craziness that is New York Fashion Week, Obana presented his show last week. Set in a minimal setting against a plain white backdrop, we were able to see the uniqueness and individuality of each look. Take a look at some behind the scene moments that led up to the fantastic N.HOOLYWOOD Fall/Winter 2015 Runway Show.
