Described as being “potent and uncompromising”, Aston Martin has unveiled the Vantage GT3. It features a carbon fiber wide body kit with modified bumpers, revised side skirts, extended fenders, a front splitter, rear diffuser and a large rear wing. It also comes with a carbon fiber hood, a black mesh grille, ceramic coated tailpipes and 19-inch alloy wheels. Power will come from a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 600 PS, which translates to around 591 bhp, and 625 Nm of torque. It connects to a seven-speed automated manual transmission which brings the car from 0 to 100 in an impressive 3.7 seconds and tops off at 185 mph. The GT3 also has a track-tuned suspension and a modified Adaptive Damping System with three different modes – Normal, Sport and Track – and is over 200 pounds lighter than the V12 Vantage S thanks to changes like the lithium-ion battery and carbon fiber door casings. The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is limited to just 100 units and will begin shipping later this year.
