In presenting their Fall/Winter 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week, Public School founders Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne referred to a "personal" design vision. Having collected armfuls of awards while establishing their presence in the fashion firmament the past two years, the young designers were in an expressive frame of mind, looking to early '90s New York City nightlife for inspiration. The looks combined functionality and sophistication, with a sporty vibe that suited the collaborative Jordan 10s on the feet of the models. Lengthy silhouettes and multiple layers were recurring motifs, with oversized scarves and grey melange wools delivering warmth to counter the resolutely cool downtown aesthetic.
