Every year, French multinational luxury goods conglomerate LVMH selects a young fashion designer to receive 300,000 Euros and one year of support from some of their top mentors. It is very easily one of the most coveted titles for the industry's budding talent and the list of contenders has officially been narrowed down to twenty-six semi-finalists. The selected few will go on to present their collections at Paris Fashion Week in March to a panel of experts and will be narrowed down to just eight who will be selected to compete for the win. "As the leader in our industry, it's our responsibility to identify young talents and help them grow," LVMH said in a statement. The final winner will be announced in May.
