In 2013 Don C and Nike celebrated the 37th anniversary of Black History Month by creating and auctioning off 37 pairs of Air Jordan 1s. The shoes were all black and adorned with a traditional print, as well as an ankle strap that sported the signature Don C Python. The kicks were paired up with Don C’s bread and butter, a snakeskin brimmed snapback. Two years later, Nike and the Don are back at it, this time celebrating BHM by flipping the script on their design. 39 pairs of Air Jordan 1s, each paired with a custom snapback (not pictured as of yet), are up for auction right now on eBay. This time around the kicks are an all white affair, sporting the 2015 BHM graphics as well as snakeskin on the ankle strap. Subtle changes also include round instead of flat laces, and gold aglets. Head over to eBay now and get your wallet ready as these will not sell for cheap, proceeds from the auction will benefit the Ever Higher Fund.
