Bremont and Jaguar have announced two new watches -- the MKI and MKII -- both inspired by the iconic Jaguar E-Type. Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Director of Design, worked with the creative team at Bremont to hone in on the car's dashboard, and more specifically, the speedometer and tachymeter, recreated on the dials of both the new Bremont Jaguar MKI and MKII watches. The former has a 43mm stainless steel case and a sapphire crystal caseback, revealing an automatic winding weight in the shape of a three-spoke E-Type steering wheel, complete with the iconic Jaguar head at the center. The MKII has the same steering-wheel winding weight, along with a classic chronograph layout that features two subdials at the three o'clock and nine o'clock positions. The BE-50AE automatic movement is customized by Bremont to a unique specification, and a subtle "red line" on the 60-minute counter mimics the E-Type’s tachymeter. Both models will debut at the Baselworld watch show next month.
