Sportswear giant adidas has opened up a new retail concept store in Berlin, Germany. Named “NBHD”, which stands for Neighborhood, it takes cues from the city itself exploring a balance between brand consistency and a localized store design. The core aspects used there were then utilized in designing spaces in Shanghai, Seoul and London. Upon visiting, you’ll find the classic Originals trefoil symbol created to look like a 3-D map of the city, limited edition ZX Flux shoes to coincide with the store’s launch and a lighting system that plays on the iconic Three Stripes logo. Next up to receive the NBHD treatment are flagships in Barcelona, Milan and Tokyo. Take a closer look at the Berlin adidas “NBHD” Concept Store below.
