Following his video for "Apparently", J. Cole has released a beautifully shot visual for his song "G.O.M.D." which appears on his latest album. The North Carolina rapper busts out his acting chops playing a slave in the 1800s that organizes an uprising against the plantation owners. The Lawrence Lamont-directed clip is powerful and continues to show us Cole's maturity as an artist. 2014 Forest Hills Drive, the anticipated follow up to 2013’s Born Sinner, came out with barely any promotion and no guest artists but it was met with massive commercial success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200.
