The BMW R80S Cafe Racer is what you get when you combine an iconic German bike with two designers that own a Hong Kong-based shop known for impeccable leather work and clothing. Oh, and did we mention they make custom motorcycles, too? Their interesting product selection aside, all of their worlds come together with the R80S, which is based off an original condition 1987 BMW R80S they found on Hong Kong island, and offers a distinctly new direction for Ben and G Barras of Angry Lane, who typically aim for choppers. Recognizing that Hong Kong's roads are narrow and packed, the primary focus was aesthetics instead of speed, combining refurbished carbs, forks, and brakes with a new custom subframe and a performance monoshock. Tarozzi clip-on bars, original switch blocks, Renthal grips, and a retro Acewell tach/speedo finish the classic look without adding any clutter. A layer of clear coat for the bare metal around the tank, matte black for the wheels, and everything else in custom leather and you have one fine looking Cafe Racer.
