Fans at this week's New York International Auto Show will get a special hometown treat with the reveal of the Lyons Motor LM2 Streamliner. Designed as a concept aimed directly at the heart of established supercar brands, the LM2 Streamliner is mind-boggling both in look and in the power, offering more technical advances and carbon fiber curves than you can shake a stick at. To start, the LM2 is fully programmable via an iPhone or other smartphone, allowing you to control accessories and customize the experience for each driver. So what about the 1,700 horses? Neatly tucked under the curvaceous hood is a twin-turbo, twin inter-cooled DOHC V8 that, although is a concept, is estimated to hit 60mph in only 2.2 seconds and a quarter mile in just under 9 seconds. Topping it off, speed is estimated to max out at a dizzying 290mph, supported with a 7-speed sequential gearbox and an electric all-wheel drive system. If you can't wait until its official reveal later this week, continue after the jump to see more angles of this supercar that is bringing automaking back to NYC after a 70 year drought.
