Ahead of its official debut at the New York Auto Show, McLaren decided to unveil their new 570S Coupe, the first of their new Sports Series range. A mix of both young and old kin, the compact 570S borrows the usual, familiar design from the McLaren family and combines it with a twin-turbo V8 3.8-liter engine more commonly seen in its bigger brothers. The result is a Coupe that can easily hit 570 HP and deliver 443 lb-ft of torque, which is enough to send it to 62mph in just 3.2 seconds with the help of a seven-speed SSG before topping out at 204mph. This new bouncing baby boy also weighs in at a remarkable 2,895 pounds and can offer 25.5 mpg. Inside the cabin, McLaren offers the new TFT digital instrument cluster, seven-inch IRIS touchscreen system, and seats that wrap passengers in Alcantara and Nappa leather, which is accented nicely with carbon fiber trim. Expect further release and price details to be confirmed following the global reveal on Wednesday.
