This past weekend Sneaker Con rolled into Cleveland, Ohio, for the first time in event history. There was a massive turnout despite the frigid temps, with attendees escaping the bone-chilling weather outside to enjoy plenty of heat inside the confines of the Independence Field House. No, Akron’s favorite son LeBron James wasn’t in attendance (though he did give a shout-out to Sneaker Con through his Instagram). Instead, the event saw basketball luminaries show up in the form of retired NBA pro Raja Bell and Cavaliers’ assistant coach James Posey. Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon and King James’ right-hand-man Randy Mims were also in the house. But the real stars of the show were, of course, the sneakers. Check out the level of heat on display via the event recap in the following pages.
