With a stellar resume of car safety technology, Volvo turns its focus toward our first mode of transportation with their new reflective LifePaint. Working with UK-based design firm Grey London, the Swedish car maker designed a spray paint that is only visible at night when light shines on it. While it's not a permanent solution - it only stays on for about 10 days after application - it's a huge step in the right direction for those who need a temporary solution for riding at night without having to permanently turn your bike into a rolling LED light show. Although initially designed for bikes, LifePaint can also be applied to clothes, helmets, shoes, dog leashes, and backpacks because it's easily washable. Right now it's only available in a few cycling shops in England, but Volvo has plans for a larger global launch. Continue after the click if you want to see more of what LifePaint can do.
