In what could be filed under one of the most interesting and unexpected car releases from a top luxury car brands this year, Rolls-Royce officially unveils their Crossover Mule. Although April Fools' Day was last week, RR isn't joking about their new crossover, based on a shortened Phantom Series II body with a very prominent rear wing holding things down. Although destined solely for testing of an "upcoming high-sided, all terrain motor car" with design aspects noted to be nothing like the planned production model, RR did note that the Crossover Mule's size is a good indicator at what's in store. The mule will begin testing this week, with focus primarily on the model's new suspension system said to deliver a "magic-carpet" ride no matter the terrain--including Belgian Pave, cobblestones, corrugated concrete, and other road surfaces. I don't know about you, but I'd love to see one of these hitting the trail.
