Ahead of its official debut at the upcoming Techno Classica, Bentley has just unveiled their Bentley Mulsanne Speed Blue Train Special Edition. Designed to mark the 85th Anniversary of the "Blue Train" race that was won by the luxury car-maker in 1930, the special edition will see both interior and exterior tweaks to pay tribute to one of the most celebrated cars in the world, one that Bentley feels perfectly embodies their love of racing. The original Blue Train was driven by Bentley Chairman Captain Woolf Barnato, who then went on to be a three-time Le Mans champion, solidifying Bentley forever in the minds of car afficiados of today and yesterday. Modifications begin with a hand-crafted wood veneer image of the original Blue Train and continues with "Blue Train" tread plates and fluting patterns on the door that echo Barnato's own. Owners will also find a personalized picnic kit that features Robbe & Berking silver plated cutlery, Haviland Limoges porcelain crockery, LINLEY crystal champagne flutes and an Angora picnic rug. Production of the Special Edition will be limited to four units, available exclusively to European buyers.
