American luxury jeweler Harry Winston has just opened a new chapter in their Histoire De Tourbillon line, chartering new territory with their sixth edition. Long known to push the envelope in both technical sophistication and exclusivity, the Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 6 watch is the most complex to-date. In short, it combines two independent hour indications - one regulated by a tri-axial tourbillon and the other by a karussel - offering equal precision and quality across both domains, whether to manage two time-zones or for use as a long-range chronograph. The HHistoire De Tourbillon 6 also borrows the immediately recognizable asymmetrical design from its five predecessors, including a 55mm 18K white gold case that is both impressive and functionally designed to meet the timepiece's technical constraints of all 683 of its parts. It also offers an 80 hour power reserve and - wait for it - an expected price that tops $600,000 for one of the 20 limited edition pieces.
