You don't need to be a certified gear head to appreciate beautiful car design. While many of the industry's finest pieces are no longer with us, a new project underway on Indiegogo is out to reflect on a time when artistry met automotive engineering and out popped magic. In a new documentary film underway, American Dreaming, two native Detroiters, Robert Edwards and Greg Salustro, are out to highlight a golden age of automotive design when Detroit inspired the world. Focusing just on mid-century cars, this feature-length film in development will tell the stories of Ford, General Motors, Packard, Chrysler, Studebaker, and Hudson cars through the eyes and words of the men and women who designed these now classic cars. While the project is already underway, the guys are looking for some support to put the final touches on editing, post-production, and distribution, a favor to which they will return with a bunch of rewards. Continue after the jump to see more of the stars of this upcoming film and learn more about the project at their Indiegogo page.
