All signs are pointing toward another strong year for everyone's favorite luxury off-road icon with our first look at the new 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Just unveiled by the German brand this week, it looks as though MB left much of the exterior styling the same instead deciding to focus on the technology and interior of the G-Class flagship. Key updates include a new 4.0-liter Turbocharged V8 engine for the G500 as well as boosted output for the G350 and G63 AMG. MB also outfitted each with an ECO start/stop function to reduce fuel consumption and emissions during extended periods of idling. Inside, a new range of upholstery and trim are set to match of color packages for the exterior that include the likes of solar beam, tomato red, alien green, sunset beam, and galactic beam, each which combine with black trim, 18-inch alloy wheels, and restyled bumpers. Updates are rounded out with a new instrument panel and refined flared wheel arches for the AMG. Hey--if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
