After their hand was pressed this morning with leaked previews, we're now getting the official images of the renewed 2015 BMW 3-Series LCI line. Much like anything that is already working and looking in flawless fashion, BMW decided to keep tweaks in 2015 subtle and mostly cosmetic, refining the body kit, cabin, and technology inside instead of going for major upgrades. Outside, the Bavarian brand swapped in new front and rear aprons, added in LED taillights across the series, enhanced the air intakes, and is slightly broadening the exterior paint schemes. Inside, new upholstery, extra chrome accents, and a new central control panel packed with a new heads-up display and Navigation Professional systems join the line-up. BMW also added in Parking Assist and xDrive, but decided to leave many of the four gas and seven diesel power-plants alone. However, the addition of a new 6-cylinder 3.0-liter all-aluminum engine for the 340i that puts out 326 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque and the addition of a 330e plug-in hybrid are both new for 2015. The entire 2015 BMW 3-Series LCI family will begin to hit dealers around the globe later this year.
