Tag Heuer has just released several special edition watches to pay tribute to their late brand ambassador and Formula 1 icon, Aryton Senna. Much like the Ducatti tribute, the watches prominently feature touches of red, black, and silver, which were also the color of the Brazilian race driver's car that he steered toward three Formula One World Championships. Officially dubbed the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph Senna Edition watches, the release sees four new Senna-family endorsed timepieces that build on the original signature model that were released as part of the brand's #DontCrackUnderPressure campaign. Comprised of two versions of the Formula 1 Chronograph and two of the Carrera Calibre 16 Chronograph Senna Edition, all of the watches see 43- or 44-mm quartz dials, automatic chronographs with one-tenth of a second precision, date functions, and a range of sub-dials. The timepieces also feature a stylized Senna "S" on the dial, caseback, and bezel, and are finished with a tachometer scale around the ring. Prices for the Formula 1 Chronograph begin at $1,750 while the Carrera Calibre begin at $4,150 with the option for a pricier titanium model for $4,600. All models are available now via Tag Heuer with additional detailed shots to follow.
