A project that was months in the making, this newly unveiled custom R nineT is named after Karl Heinrich, the German designer known for fashioning distinctive fuel tanks from the ’60s to the ’80s. The machine was completed at Deus Customs‘ Sydney headquarters for BMW Motorrad Australia, featuring a vintage ’70s aesthetic highlighted by a massive fuel tank inspired by Heinrich’s work, as well as a brown suede-covered seat and a new subframe underneath, fabricated from square and round section tubing. Additional revisions include K&N filters in lieu of the stock R nineT airbox and the fitting of stainless steel mufflers from Cone Engineering. A Motogadget Motoscope Pro dash completed the look.
