2015 marks the 20th anniversary of the groundbreaking film Kids, Larry Clark‘s debut film chronicling the exploits of underage youth in downtown NYC. Harmony Korine wrote the screenplay when he was just 18, and the film starred Leo Fitzpatrick and a variety of downtown New York personalities, including Supreme team riders Justin Pierce and Harold Hunter. Shot in a verite, documentary-like style, Kids captures the spirit of the times, one tied to the Supreme mystique (not to mention the appearance of a box logo tee during the infamous fight scene in Washington Square Park). Supreme is celebrating the film’s 20th anniversary with a collection that includes a pullover hoodie, long-sleeve tee, two graphic tees and three skate decks. Fire up the Folk Implosion and shop the goods when they launch May 21st in New York, L.A., London and online. A Japanese release follows on May 23rd.
