The City of Light may be known for haute couture and haute dining, but the French capital has loosened up remarkably in the past decade or so. After all, it would have been difficult to conceive of the emergence of food trucks in Paris, the birthplace of the Michelin Guide, but that’s the city in 2015. Starcow

L’Eclaireur

Launched in 1980 in a basement store on the Champs-Élysées, L’Eclaireur was one of the first retailers to bring Maison Martin Margiela, Dries Van Noten and Helmut Lang to France. Surface to Air

Pigalle

Beaubien

Named after a metro station in founder Julien Bouzereau’s hometown of Montreal, Beaubien was launched in 2013 as a small, carefully curated menswear boutique offering an international roster of brands hailing from the U.S., Japan and Europe.
