Following in the footsteps of Porsche, BMW and most recently Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz has officially announced their own Glance for the Apple Watch. The app, which is also available on the iPhone, allows users to access directions from the device which can then be sent to the car’s navigation system, making the route guidance experience as quick and easy as possible. Apple’s new wearable will also offer up walking instructions to the car and to the final destination after parking. Additionally, it provides basic stats like fuel level, range and odometer readings. The MB Companion App is compatible with the COMAND Online system, which is currently used by the C-Class and the S-Class, and will be fully functional come this fall with more models to follow after.
