On the heels of last week’s teaser, BMW has unveiled the new 3.0 CSL Hommage concept at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Wearing an eye-catching Golf Yellow paint job, the design pays tribute to the iconic 3.0 CSL. Among the prominent exterior features include an aggressive front fascia with a carbon fiber front splitter, massive grill, slender laser light LED headlights and fenders that fold up over the hood. There are also carbon fiber side skirts, roof and tail spoilers, LED taillights, CFRP diffuser and 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin are two lightweight sport seats with contrast stitching and six-point harnesses, as well as a minimalist instrument cluster and a carbon fiber roll cage with a unique V-shaped cross member in the back. Details are scarce when it comes to performance specifications, but it’s confirmed a six-cylinder in-line engine with eBoost technology lives under the hood.
