If you want to take your vacation game to the next level, then you need to check out this just-launched GoPro HERO+ LCD. As the name implies, this model is an upgraded revision of last year's Hero, with the most notable new feature coming in the form of the built-in touchscreen LCD. Previously only available through the Hero4, this addition not only eases menu navigation, but also shot setup and video play-back. The LCD is also joined by updates to the device itself, including the title as the first HERO able to record video up to 1080p at 60fps and take 8-megapixel stills (a 3MB boost) along with its built-in WiFi and Bluetooth integration and the popular HiLight tagging. The company even decided to launch a new feature in the GoPro HERO+ LCD: in-camera video trimming with app sharing. All these new features, of course, come with a new and improved price point: $300. While that's more than double the standard Hero, you're getting a lot more toys to capture your mug mid-air. The new GoPro HERO+ LCD is launching this weekend online.
