Following an initial look earlier today, we take a deep dive into the upcoming joint venture between UNDEFEATED and adidas Consortium, one that centers around an updated version of a classic adidas Originals silhouette. That sneaker is the adidas LA Trainer, retooled and rechristened as the Los Angeles. The shoe’s minimalist look and feel are created through a seamless mesh upper with flat-lock construction that fits close to the foot, along with a midsole that does away with the LA Trainer’s signature plugs. A subdued camo pattern ties back to UNDEFEATED’s military design playbook, with subtle UNDEFEATED branding appearing on the tongue and black welded side stripes. Priced at $95, the kicks launch June 13th at all UNDEFEATED stores. A wider release will take place on the 20th through select adidas boutiques, including No74 in Berlin and No42 in Paris, as well as select Consortium retailers. US stores include the following: Addict, Bodega, Concepts, Nice Kicks, Packer Shoes, Proper and Shoe Gallery.
