Spring 2016 finds Jordan Brand celebrating Michael’s various career highs through a trio of legacy shoe collections. Kicking things off is the “Poster” collection, featuring the Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 12. The Air Jordan 2 “Wing It” is inspired by the ad campaign that coincided with the shoe’s original release in 1986. Rendered in white, black and dark gray, the shoe has “Wing It” printed on each shoe’s heels, mirroring the typography on the poster. Its Air Jordan 12 counterpart, celebrating its 20th anniversary, pulls inspiration from the iconic “The Master” poster. It features a black leather with subtle hints of white and gold playing off the poster’s radiant lines.
