After being treated to new trailers for both the upcoming Mad Max and Forza Motorsport 6 video games, attendees to this year's E3 also got a first hand look at a one-off Ford F-150 Halo Sandcat. Designed to promote the upcoming release of theHalo 5: Guardians video game, Xbox joined forces with Ford, 343 Industries, and Galpin Autosports to recreate the United Nations Space Command vehicle in the flesh. Based on the 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4, the team outfitted the 3.5-liter Ecoboost powered-truck with an FX4 off-road package that includes Addictive Desert Designs' Baja XTR conversion kit, a Currie full floater rear axle, new leaf springs and racing shocks, and ADD custom fenders and side steps. The Ford F-150 Halo Sandcat - also codenamed M552 - was also outfitted with a chase rack, extra tow hooks, 17-inch wheels with off-road tires, and three extra fuel tanks secured in the bed. In addition to the visual modifications, the team also wrapped the body in full Halo garb while the interior sees a full Xbox One console with dual displays integrated into the back of the front headrests along with additional custom accessories. If you aren't in town for E3 or if you just want another look, we've got more angles after the click.
