For his Spring/Summer 2016 at London Collections Men, Christopher Raeburn took inspiration from Tom Harrisson, the British polymath who would go on to become the “Barefoot Anthropologist” after joining an expedition to Borneo. Tropical cues would be seen cork paneling on mesh backpacks and waffle-cotton tank tops, the latter paired with a breezy sarong. Tees and knitwear featured an all-over print depicting either Borneo’s topography or orangutan silhouettes in mid-swing. Those jungle motifs were paired with various military-inspired prints and materials, including the use of repurposed parachute fabrics.
