Nike Hyperdunk 2015
Nike has unveiled the latest edition of its flagship basketball sneaker, the Hyperdunk 2015, featuring both the brand’s top performance technology and a visually striking silhouette. Created by a team led by Leo Chang, Nike Basketball‘s Footwear Design Director, the lightweight and responsive shoe looks like a high-top but performs like a low-top, with modern design cues inspired by the legendary Nike Mag. The one-piece Hyperfuse upper, developed from athlete insight and exhaustive testing, features Nike Flywire for a lockdown fit, flexible collar foam for added support and internal bootie construction for a snug, comfortable fit. A first for the Hyperdunk is Zoom Air, providing cushioning at the heel and forefoot, along with phylon midsole cushioning and midsole foam acting as a heel counter. A lightweight outsole design wraps up the sidewall for enhanced stability and support, while a herringbone pattern delivers tackiness and grip.
The Nike Hyperdunk 2015 will be available in the bright crimson launch colorway beginning July 1, followed by a white colorway on August 1. Additionally, six key colorways will be available July 1 – September 30.
