Emblematic of the yin-yang totems that the models carried, Xander Zhou's Spring/Summer 2016 collection showed off an interesting duality at London Collections Men. There were traditional Chinese jacquards on unexpected silhouettes, combined with clashing patterns and mismatched fabrics. Androgynous pieces featured sleeveless -- and sometimes legless -- designs, which contrasted with boxy, oversized lightweight jackets and tops. This was a blending of East and West, rather than a collision of cultures, in which the iconography of both was reconstructed for the modern man.
