James Murphy has spent the past 20 years attempting to bring his "Subway Symphony" to life, and the former LCD Soundsystem frontman has now teamed up with Heineken to make his dream a reality. The goal is to have the turnstiles of the NYC subway emit a musical tone with every swipe of a MetroCard, which means that a bank of turnstiles at any station would effectively become a symphony during rush hour. Murphy partnered with Heineken as part of brand's the "Open Your City" campaign, and the two have debuted a video that previews some of the possible sound sequences while also laying out the grand vision for the project. Check it out below, and go here for more information.
