The Aston Martin DB9 has put in over 10 years of dutiful service, with only minor tweaks and modifications coming with each year's release. However, the reveal of this new Aston Martin DB9 GT at this week's Goodwood Festival of Speed seeks to finally take one of the most storied and beautiful cars on the market to a whole new level. Now able to claim the title as the most potent DB9s yet to be devised, the GT model offers an uprated 6.0-liter V12 engine that boasts 547 HP and a 0-60mph time of just 4.4 seconds before topping out at 183mph. As a tribute to its kin, the Aston Martin DB9 GT doesn't seek to replace previous models, but instead is designed to deliver the best of what a DB9 can be; offering world-class touring and hand-built excellence. Visual tweaks come in the form of a new black front splitter and diffuser, updated head and tail light configurations, and ten spoke 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, you'll also find a host of leather and Alcantara with carbon fiber elements sitting in as nice accents. All told, Aston Martin was able to make a great thing even better. Now we'll just wait until this Fall to determine pricing and availability.
